What Lucile Ball was to TV Eve Arden was to radio. The best female show lead of the medium.

Our Miss Brooks
This series will grow on you - the characters are well defined and the situations are tolerable. Frankly, the show is pleasantly amusing because the characters are so likeable. I think it's much better than Great Gildersleeve (Yes!), Henry Aldrich, Archie Andrews, Ozzie and Harriet, Life of Riley and Father Knows Best! Eve Arden was perfect as Miss Brooks. As far as situation comedies go, this one is above average.
